Distilat incepand cu anul 1896, Singleton foloseste o apa atat de pura, incat legenda spune ca distileriile rivale au incercat sa modifice cursul apei. Nu este de mirare, tinand cont ca delicatetea exceptionala a single malt-ului se datoreaza in parte calitatilor rar intalnite ale apei utilizate si astazi in procesul de distilare.<\/p>\n

The Singleton of Dufftown a aparut din dorinta de a crea un single malt cu un gust desavarsit. Pentru obtinerea sa se acorda o atentie deosebita fiecarui detaliu din procesul de fabricare – alegerea ingredientelor, fermentarea, distilarea, selectia butoaielor si maturarea. Pe eticheta sticlei cu forma unica este reprezentat un somon in aer in lunga sa calatorie in amonte, un simbol al maiestrei naturii si al evolutiei.<\/p>\n

The Singleton of Dufftown este un single malt din Speyside perfect echilibrat, bogat si cu un gust exceptional. Are o vechime de 12 ani si o culoare auriu intens, cu nuante de mahon. In primul val de arome domina notele de lemn si alune, urmate de fructe abundente, precum mar copt si curmale uscate si parfum de lemn dulce. In ceea ce priveste gustul, impresia initiala de alune dulci si crocante lasa locul bogatiei de fructe specifice malturilor din Speyside. Te cucereste prin dulceata moderata si aluziile de coacaze negre, zahar brun si cafea espresso. Corpul usor si echilibrat continua cu un postgust mediu spre lung, elegant, cu nuante tarzii de alune.<\/p>\n
